Privacy policy

This notice explains how Venus Cloud Ltd. handles personal data when you visit callsky.app.
Scope of this notice
This notice covers callsky.app, the website you are currently visiting. The CallSky mobile apps and the web app have their own privacy notice, shown at signup and available from their App Store and Google Play listings. If you've signed up for the calling service, that separate notice governs the personal data you provide there (such as your account, contacts, and call records). This notice does not cover any of that.
Who we are
callsky.app is operated by Venus Cloud Ltd., a private limited company registered in England under company number 07563716, with its registered office at 1 Richmond Road, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire FY8 1PE, United Kingdom. For data-protection purposes under the UK GDPR, Venus Cloud Ltd. is the controller of the data described in this notice.
What we collect on this website
When you load a page on callsky.app, our infrastructure providers automatically receive standard HTTP request data, including:
- Your IP address, browser user-agent, and the page paths you request.
- Timestamps and response codes for each request.
- The referrer (the link or site that brought you here), if your browser sends one.
On top of that, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure how the site is used in aggregate. What Google receives, and how you can opt out, is described in the Cookies and Third parties sections below. We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not combine the analytics data with any personal identity we hold.
How we use it
We use the request data above to serve the site and secure it against abuse. We use Google Analytics data to understand aggregate usage patterns (such as which pages are read most) so we can improve the site over time. The legal basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in operating and improving this website. Analytics cookies are set on the same basis; you can opt out at any time using the methods described in the Cookies section.
Cookies
This site sets two categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies set by Cloudflare for security purposes, such as identifying visitors who repeatedly fail security checks.
- Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (the
_gaand_ga_*cookies) to count visitors and measure how the site is used. They do not personally identify you.
You can block either category at the browser level; the site will continue to load and function. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or use your browser's tracking-prevention features. No advertising cookies are set.
Third parties
This site uses three processors to operate:
- Cloudflare — CDN, security, and image hosting. Cloudflare receives the request data described above. Their privacy practices are published at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google Fonts — webfont delivery for the Inter typeface. Google receives the request data necessary to serve the font files. Google's font-serving privacy notice describes how this data is handled.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate visitor measurement. Google receives page-view and event data along with the analytics cookies described above. Google's privacy practices for Analytics are published at policies.google.com/privacy.
International transfers
Cloudflare and Google are US-headquartered providers and process some request data outside the UK and EEA. Where this happens, we rely on the appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) that those providers have put in place.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access any personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability where applicable. Because this website collects only minimal request data, those rights apply mostly to the small set of CDN and server logs we hold. To exercise any right, email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The current version, with the "last updated" date at the top, is always at callsky.app/privacy. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page when published.

For privacy questions or to exercise any of the rights above, email [email protected].
