CallSky

Terms of use

Last updated 18 July 2026

These terms govern your use of CallSky — the international calling service provided through the CallSky iOS and Android apps and the web app on this domain — and your use of the callsky.app website itself. Both are operated by Venus Cloud Ltd. By creating an account, placing a call, or using this site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.

Who we are

CallSky and this website are operated by Venus Cloud Ltd., a private limited company registered in England under company number 07563716, with its registered office at 1 Richmond Road, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire FY8 1PE, United Kingdom.

The CallSky service

What the service is

CallSky lets you call landline and mobile numbers worldwide over the internet (VoIP). Calls are routed through third-party telecommunications carriers. CallSky is not a replacement for a traditional phone line and cannot reach emergency numbers such as 999, 911, or 112.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately.

Credits and billing

CallSky is prepaid. You buy credits, denominated in US dollars, through the in-app purchase system of the store your mobile app came from, or by card in the web app, where payments are processed by Stripe. Calls are billed per minute at the rate displayed before you dial. Rates vary by destination country, carrier, and whether the number is a landline or mobile. Billing intervals — typically 60-second increments — are set by the carrier routing the call, and partial intervals are rounded up.

Credits do not expire. Unused credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by the store you bought through under its refund policies; for purchases made in the web app, contact [email protected].

Call rates

Per-minute rates are displayed in the Rate Explorer in the apps and on this website. Rates change over time; the rate applied to a call is the rate in effect when the call is placed.

Acceptable use

CallSky is intended primarily for personal communication. You agree not to use it for:

  • Automated or robotic dialling (auto-dialers, predictive dialers, robocalling).
  • Harassment, threats, or any form of abusive communication.
  • Fraud, scams, or impersonation.
  • Any activity that violates the telecommunications, telemarketing, or consumer-protection laws of your country or the destination country — including the TCPA in the United States, PECR in the United Kingdom, and equivalent regulations elsewhere.
  • Unsolicited commercial calls to recipients who have not given consent where the law requires it.
  • Circumventing security measures, reverse engineering the apps, or interfering with our systems.

If you use CallSky for business or commercial purposes, you are solely responsible for making sure your calls comply with the law in both your jurisdiction and the recipient's.

To protect our standing with the carrier networks CallSky depends on, we monitor account activity for patterns that damage the reputation of our outbound caller IDs — for example, unusually high volumes of failed or unanswered calls, a high proportion of calls rejected by destination carriers as suspected unwanted traffic, or patterns consistent with list dialling or telemarketing. Where we identify such patterns we may, at our discretion and without prior notice, apply rate limits, pass through carrier surcharges, ask about your intended use, or suspend or terminate the account. Suspension or termination on these grounds does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits, except where required by law.

Service availability

Calls depend on your internet connection and on third-party carriers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, call quality, or connectivity to every destination; calls may fail, drop, or degrade with network conditions.
